Part Time Van Driver – Partial Care Program – Prospect House

Qualifications
Must have a current Driver’s License in good standing. Experience serving those diagnosed with mental illness is a plus. Must also possess basic computer skills as well as the ability to read maps and driving routes. Must be able to provide services to our consumers in a compassionate manner.

Responsibilities
Provides transportation for Prospect House consumers to and from the program, as well as to new members for intake an for appointments with the psychiatrist, as needed. Provides emergency transportation, as needed. Provides front-desk and parking lot security coverage, as needed. Must maintain a driving record both in good standing and as per Agency policy standards. Delivers interoffice mail to other MHAEM facilities daily and as needed. Completes other errands and duties, as assigned by Administrative Coordinator and Director. Receive and assist with deliveries including stocking pantry and organizing basement supplies. Assist with building maintenance and cleaning tasks, as needed. Assists consumers on and off of the vans, including non-ambulatory consumers. Provides evening, weekend and holiday social program transportation as required by program needs.
