Security Guard / Receptionist

Shift: Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 6 PM

Qualifications
Previous experience in security, corrections or law enforcement is strongly preferred. Valid Driver’s License is also required.

Responsibilities
Greet members and visitors as they arrive and oversee the sign in process. Announce visitors to staff members before directing the visitor into the facility.

Conduct regular building tours throughout the shift.

Secure and close the building, including: turning off all lights and electrical equipment, locking all doors/windows, inspect all rooms and bathrooms for safety and mechanical issues, setting alarm, ensuring parking lot gates are closed and locked.

Coordinate and assist the Program Director with monthly fire drills.

Provide back-up phone coverage, as needed. Provide emergency transportation for members, as needed. Act as a member of the team by carrying out various errands, as needed.

Receive deliveries and ensure they are appropriately allocated.
